CANCELLATION FUND

Taking out insurance through the cancellation fund is advised. By joining the cancellation fund you can protect yourself against the costs of canceling the rental accommodation/camping pitch, if one of the travel companions:

A. suddenly becomes ill or injured as a result of an accident;

B. has to deal with a death in the immediate family, that is to say, the death of a spouse, parent, parent-in-law, child, brother, or sister.

Moreover, this fund will indemnify you for the cancellation costs if the head of the household involuntarily becomes unemployed. Taking out the cancellation fund insurance is only possible immediately upon booking. The cancellation fund provides cover from the day of booking up to the departure date entered by you on the reservation request. In the event of an interim departure, for one of the reasons mentioned above, reimbursement will take place in proportion to the number of unused days of the booked vacation. In this case, you must report leaving the rental property/pitch at the reception of the campsite. Any extras will not be reimbursed in the event of premature termination of the vacation. In order to qualify for payment from the cancellation fund, a cancellation declaration and supporting documents must be submitted.

Cancellation will not result in a refund of the cancellation fund premium and reservation fee. The premium amounts to 5.5% of the total amount and EUR 5 administration costs. These are listed as an extra service by default, but automatically expire if you did not pay the cancellation fund amount on the due date.
